Catching Up?

wow.. has it really been almost a year since i've posted on here? things have definitely changed since my last post, my first ever post. old friends gone, new friends in. it's like i struggle to find friends that stay for more than a couple years.. i have one person that i've been friends with since 5th grade....i'm a junior in college... and then a friend who i've known since junior in high school, and then one i met last year... literally my only friends. but that's something i've learned lately is that people are so fickle.  its hard to find true, deep, and honest friendship. especially at my age.. everyone my age is all about going out, drinking, partying, smoking (i know im generalizing everybody but in my town.. its true) and thats exactly the opposite of what i look for in friends. im just ready to move and experience the pacific northwest (specf, washington state or oregon)

Hi! My name is Colleen, and welcome to my blog!

Let it be known that I am using this blog as a way to talk about my life, vent my frustrations, and express myself. I am not going to worry about correct punctuation or grammar, or any of that. Its’ just gonna be me, writing my thoughts and letting it all out. So yeah, thanks. I guess I should provide a little bit about myself? Its’ not like anyone but me is gonna be reading these, put for purpose’s sake, I will. Here we go:

v  I’m nineteen years old, as of August 19^th.

v  I live in North Carolina, but I’m dying to get out

v  I’m pursing a degree in Biology, so I can work in a veterinary office

v  I adore animals, my pets in particular so I’ll probably include numerous photos of them J

v I love to travel, and I wish someone would pay for me to spend my life traveling the world.

That should do it for now. I desperately need to go finish an annotated bibliography for my English class, so I’ll see you next time.
